While this title certainly isn't bad, it just isn't really anything for me. There's some great ideas and some good art but overall it's hard to put the $3.50 a month out for it. Especially since you'll see below I'm ending up adding other titles to my pull anyways and something has to get the short end of the stick. Still, I may keep an ear out and possibly pick up the trade if I hear some nice things about it. Right now, it's just too lukewarm to really commit.

This was great. Incredible even. Definitely pick it up (especially for $3, 44 pages, no ads). I finished and was so upset I loved it way more than I thought I would. I was hoping I wouldn't be forced to pick it up month after month but I am. As soon as I put it down I looked up at my Ex Machina hardcovers and didn't know what to do. I really want to read this story as it comes out but having it in a hardcover would be great. But I will grab it every month. I have to. I haven't been this excited over a next issue in a long time.

When I finished I wasn't sure how I felt but looking back over it it was actually really good. I liked what it seemed to be doing but I am actually interested in what Kirkman and Spencer are weaving. Martinbrough has some rough spots but generally has some nice things happening in his art. I reluctantly picked up #2 and I wish I didn't enjoy this as much as I am so I'm reluctantly picking up #3. But I am interested in the story that's being told.
